Field Service Manager
Location: Quality Irrigation – Omaha, NE (On-site)

Salary: $65,000 - $95,000 per year
Position Overview
The Field Service Manager is responsible for leading and managing irrigation technicians, overseeing the daily operations
of the Irrigation Service Department, and ensuring the successful execution of maintenance and enhancement projects. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to efficiency and team development.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Maintain discipline and high standards for the professional operation of the department
- Establish departmental goals and monitor contractual and enhancement responsibilities
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement HR-approved disciplinary procedures
- Provide daily support to irrigation technicians via phone calls, texts, and on-site visits
- Develop and implement staff training programs
Operational Oversight & Process Management
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and direct daily irrigation operations to ensure deadlines are met
- Review and evaluate methods and procedures for efficiency and safety compliance
- Maintain accurate records of technician labor hours, project scopes, and department inventory
- Update and manage inventory pricing regularly
Field Supervision & Client Relations
- Perform in-field follow-ups to ensure job completion, quality standards, and sales opportunities
- Work directly with the Operations Manager to meet monthly and yearly maintenance goals
- Effectively communicate and provide professional guidance to team members and customers
Technical Expertise & Industry Innovation
- Develop and maintain expertise in irrigation technology, systems, and best practices
- Stay informed on industry advancements and implement new technologies
when applicable
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in field services, irrigation operations, or service-based industries
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to provide documentation to verify eligibility.
Preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role
- 1-3 years of irrigation experience
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Frequent repetitive hand and arm motions with prolonged periods of sitting
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, listen, reach, climb, kneel, and balance
- Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for handling equipment
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Noise level is typically low to moderate
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
