Salary: $65,000–$95,000 per year
The Production Manager is responsible for the overall success of both the Commercial and Residential Production Teams. This role involves leading daily operations, coordinating large-scale irrigation projects, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Lead and develop both Commercial and Residential Production Teams
Recruit, train, and evaluate field staff
Set goals and policies that align with company culture, safety, and performance standards
Foster a positive, high-morale, and productive work environment
Assist in preparing estimates, proposals, and contracts
Coordinate with owners, customers, and contractors to align scope and schedules
Ensure accurate job costing and project scope adherence
Manage project schedules, inventory, labor hours, and quality control
Coordinate and attend site meetings as necessary
Monitor budgets and make data-driven decisions to meet targets
Use forecasting and capacity models to ensure teams are fully staffed and equipped
Oversee departmental revenue including completed, in-progress, and scheduled work
Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
Lead preventive safety training, including weekly tailgate talks
Use Fleetio to track vehicle and equipment maintenance
Conduct on-site safety and quality checks
Strong knowledge of irrigation installation, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques
Demonstrated ability to lead both office and field teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and at least one CRM system
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience installing custom design-build irrigation systems
Ability to read blueprints and build irrigation systems per plan
Willingness to work in the field when needed (e.g., training, troubleshooting)
Physical activities include walking, lifting, crouching, crawling, and digging in various weather conditions
Extensive keyboard/computer use
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
